Q. Who are you?

A. I'm Rachel Rosen, a.k.a. Little Miss Negativity.

Q. So what is it that you do, exactly?

A. I run Fairly Unusual Design, which is a freelance graphic design and editing company. I create web sites, posters, flyers, publications, and random visual eye candy.

Q. How big is the company?

A. Right now it's just me. Eventually, I want to turn it into a design collective.

Q, Where are you located? Will you work for me if I live in Hicksville, USA?

A. I work out of my home, which is located in downtown Toronto, although I'm happy to travel anywhere (within reason) to meet with clients. If you're located somewhere completely remote, we can still communicate via e-mail. If you're located somewhere tropical, I'll move.

Q. What do you charge?

A. It depends on the scope of the project and how time-consuming it is.

Q. Will you do my site for free?

A. That depends. I'll do pro bono work if a) I can afford to do it, and b) it's for a really good cause that can't afford to pay me.

Q. Why are you called Little Miss Negativity?

A. A friend coined the name after I took him on a personalized tour of York University. Have you ever been to York University? No windows, nowhere to sit between classes, no wonder I was bitter. I'm much less negative now that I've graduated, but I think it's a cute nickname.
