Never Forget, Never Forgive, Never Forget
Acrylic on canvas

Opposing the Israeli occupation of Palestinian land within the North American Jewish community is incredibly controversial. (See the Links page for some anti-occupation groups here and in Israel) The whole situation is especially tragic because we, of all people, should know better. The experience of the Holocaust tells us that putting people behind walls and barbed wire, destroying their homes and livelihoods, and gunning down their children is inexcusable. Half a century ago, the same thing was done to us. This painting was born from my anger that so few of us realize the irony.
